@stux This is why i donβt get people just blanked rejecting Vivaldi (or any other half decent browsers) because its βjust chromeβ. I get being unhappy with the overall situation of everything being chrome based, but is being chrome based really that different from being based on a browser that is 90% dependent on google for its support anyway?
And then on top of depending on google for financing, theyβve just been actively making their browser more bloated for at least the past decade. Vivaldi by comparison Theyβve committed to not shoveling in AI, they operate a mastodon instance and are active on fediverse, has a built in ad and tracking blocker, and no built in crypto garbage.
