I Slopped this together recently so i could have access to a winamp like music player that integrates my own music collection. This is the same library that is also available on navidrome and jellyfin but with a fun “retro” theme to it. Also MilkDrop.

It supports installing as a PWA on android and iOS.

A VPN gets served with a lawful court order, so instead of asking “why does my anonymity depend on a corporation being capable of ignoring the legal system?”, everyone starts yelling that the VPN provider is evil.

This is learning the wrong lesson.

The lesson of enshittification is not: “find the next benevolent corporation.”

If anyone has old Xitter accounts they aren’t using, I could do with a few more to put in rotation on my public nitter instance. Suspended accounts work fine too, just needs to be able to see the public timeline.

Once its been stable for a while i’ll try to make it more known. I was able to get it setup using all suspended accounts which i thought was interesting. There are i think 6 total accounts in rotation with 6 different IPs so it shouldnt hit rate limits too much. It does say its rate limited if you just use the standard search but direct URLs should work if you point to a post.

Starting a new service where I will export your entire music library, playlists etc, off of streaming services like Spotify to put it all onto an SD card and mail it to you. Just provide me with the storage device and I’ll do the rest free of charge.

I have no less then 4 shells running opencode right now, Working on 4 different projects. Give a command to one, move to the next while it works… Am i “technically” more productive, i guess so, these are projects i would not even dream of attempting myself, IM not interested in learning to code beyond the basic level i already can, i would rather idk, do things…

But at the same time I fucking hate it and I can feel it making me stupider, Literally like a drug, not one that has bad WD, but one you constantly think about doing more of (because i keep having new things i want to try)

Riptide service is now online. This is a new custom service that performs meta search across various audio streaming providers and can download the best available quality of albums or even entire discographies, which then gets imported into NaviDrome’s Library.
