I’m attempting to get some kind of locally cached file system working with Jellyfin (and eventually other stuff) so if/when the network storage goes offline it wont cut out for active streams, gonna be a lot of trial and error to figure it all out though.

Building AI and huge data centers in the desert is WILDLY ignorant and misdirected behavior. It's almost as if the people who build and design these things don't even consider naturally cool or water rich places. They don't even try. I don’t care if you gamble, I don’t think we should ban gambling ads specifically, but personally I can make several compelling arguments why we should ban “advertising” as a thing entirely.

I think i can say with full confidence that No one who uses RSS wants to see ads especially gambling ones. I think its safe to assume that applies to about 99% of the Fediverse too, with the other 1% being the advertisers and spambots the rest of us all despise.
