For example i think the world would be a much better place if Elon Musk Killed himself. Why are people still okay with advertising in general? LIke why are you even watching this shit, instead of muting, or skipping the ads? Ads are a fucking cancer on society. There are as many “good” ads as there are good billionaires… (okay tbh that one campaign budwiser did like 20 years ago was pretty good, but only because it had almost nothing to do with the product they sold.)

Isn’t it interesting how such a controversial ad manages to basically double the promotion whatever company is getting out of it, so not only are people who got offended seeing the ad, but then those same pearl clutchers are now walking advertisements to the maga/alt-right folk that they can “own the libs” even more just by purchasing some shitty jeans.

Honestly, some companies just don’t learn unless you hit them where it hurts. Responsible disclosure’s nice in theory, but when they ghost you or act like stuffs not a big deal, i think its okay to drop the politeness and let the market for a well placed exploit teach them the cost of ignoring security.

My problem with #vibecoding is that you can accomplish usable code without learning anything. I feel useless but I’ve been able to accomplish a bunch of things i probably wouldnt have bothered to attempt otherwise. I’ve started converting a lot of my bash scripts into go. I’m not really learning anything doing it though, it sucks because I want to get things done and its kind of addicting tbh.

I cant imagine using this stuff for anything that matters though, or trusting anything of importance with it. Its useful as a novelty, but using this stuff at large scale is going to cause serious brain drain to society. We are so fucked.

I’m working on splitting up the Back to the Beginning show to upload to peertube. Hopefully some of ya’ll will help me with mirroring it.
